- The use of black and white reduces any differences in the collection of images. That is why I implemented this technique, to assimilate the terraces together just like the water tanks. 

- I think my series in particular captures seemingly banal and quotidian spaces that have some common abstract quality. The reason being, these terraces are all quite obvious and predictable but once put all together they almost become mysterious and abstract. These are all house I walk pass to get to class/work, making them quotidian.
